Rainforest

A Rainforest can be described as a tall, dense jungle.
The reason it is called a "rain" forest is
because of the high amount of rainfall
it gets per year.

Wildlife in these forests must adapt
to the wet humid conditions. Animals
you can find in a rainforest. Jaguar, spider
monkey, Poison dart frog ,Ocelot, Eunectes,
  Green anaconda.
Some of the rainforests around the world
are: Amazon rainforest, Congolese rainforest
, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve,
Sinharaja Forest Reserve rainforests,
Pacifiemperate
Rainforests and Valdivian temperate
rainforests.

A rain forest is very dense  There is a high
canopy of foliage, a middle layer of thick wet
leaves and dense undergrowth. There are
lots of hanging vines and plants that grow on
the trunks of others - these are called
epiphytes.
You can find rainforest around the Equator.
This equatorial belt is important for out
planet because it helps to purify the air
we breathe.

Rainforests are are subject to heavy
rainfall at least 80 inches 2,000 mm  and
in some areas over 430 inches 10,920 mm
of rain each year. In equatorial regions, rainfall
may be year round without apparent wet or
dry seasons, although many forests do have
seasonal rains.
